He is Risen!

Happy Easter to all of you! I hope that all of you had a fun-filled, Christ-centered holiday yesterday. I know I did. Three of my friends sojourned to Morton with me to spend Easter day with my family. After church, we had Easter dinner at my aunt's house where I promptly consumed enough food to fill the Trojan horse. Afterwards, of course, I felt as bloated as a manatee with indigestion, so my physical activity declined as the day progressed. But I had fun regardless. I love spending time with my family, and having the entire day reinforced by the idea that through Jesus' resurrection I will be spending eternity with my Eternal Family made the day even better!

Now I'm back at IWU trying to persevere through 2 more full weeks of classes before finals. The end is in sight, but it's also the calm before the storm, so I need to be sure to make hay while the sun still shines so that I don't get caught red-handed putting the last straw on the camel's back before it calls the kettle black when the cow's get home.

I felt really old today because I registered for my junior year of classes next fall! Junior year!?!? It seems just last week I was a junior in grade school!!! Where has the time gone? Before I know it, I'll be getting asked for senior citizen discounts when I order coffee at restaurants.
